וַיֶּאֱסֹ֣ף שְׁלֹמֹה֮ רֶ֣כֶב וּפָרָשִׁים֒ וַיְהִי־ל֗וֹ אֶ֤לֶף וְאַרְבַּע־מֵאוֹת֙ רֶ֔כֶב וּשְׁנֵים־עָשָׂ֥ר אֶ֖לֶף פָּֽרָשִׁ֑ים וַיַּנְחֵם֙ בְּעָרֵ֣י הָרֶ֔כֶב וְעִם־הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃
און שלמה האָט אָנגעזאַמלט רײַטװעגן און רײַטער; און ער האָט געהאַט טױזנט און פֿירהונדערט רײַטװעגן, און צװעלפֿטױזנט רײַטער; און ער האָט זײ אַהינגעטאָן אין די שטעט פֿאַר רײַטװעגן, און בײַם מלך אין ירושלים.

And Solomon the son of David strengthened himself over his kingdom, and the L rd his G d was with him, and He greatly exalted him.

And Solomon gathered chariots and riders. And he had fourteen hundred chariots and twelve thousand riders. And he quartered them in the chariot cities, and [some were] with the king [and] in Jerusalem.
